"Human nature" is something that needs to be overcome" – this is the main idea of the play " Zarathustra did not say so". The play has the most minimalistic setting: an empty pad, one actor, moderate smoke effects with other usual atributes being dropped out as non-essential.
The first part of the play has the body of the hero discribed as a macrocosm, while the action is concentrated on the hands of the actor, supported by the only quote taken from F. Nietzsche's "Zarathustra" – "What is a heavy burthen? - Says a hardy spirit, stands on its knees as a camel, wanting to be heavily loaded."
The second part of the play has the camel becoming a lion. Such transformation describes a life story of John Lennon. Why him?
His way to the top, his frustration while being there as well as the tragic ending of his days are the perfect example of a camel-to-lion stransformation process. And..
