EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY WITH THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS

The Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine is announcing the position in Severodontesk for: ENGINEER / FIELD OFFICER (building infrastructure and water supply)

Required skills
- High education in engineering or technical subject (University or Institute).
- Four (4) years work experience in a similar field of activity.
- Fluent Russian and English written and spoken.
- Very good computer literacy (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, AutoCAD).
- Good rigor, method and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of the political, social and cultural assigned environment.
- Negotiation skills
- Motivation to travel and work within the Lugansk area.
- At ease to work in team and independently.
- Sense of responsibility and ability to take appropriate initiatives.

Under the supervision of the projects' managers, the main tasks of this person will be:
- Plan, prepare, organise and monitor the implementation of construction or rehabilitation projects on building infrastructures or water supply systems.
- Supervise, coach the technical staff working for the project
- Assist the program responsible / coordinator in assessing the needs
- Execute administrative and office work related to the project
- Negotiate and maintain contact with authorities and suppliers
- Draft written reports in relation to the project and programs in general
